An Anatolian textile house, woven into the web.
Kilim Works is a fourth-generation weaving atelier in Konya selling flat-weave rugs to collectors worldwide. Their craft is measured in months; their old website took three clicks to feel cheap.

01 — The brief
How do you sell a $4,000 rug on a screen? The texture is the product — and screens have none. Photography alone flattened everything the hands could feel.
02 — The work
We treated the website as a loom. Pages weave in: content threads horizontally into place, warp and weft. Each rug's pattern was redrawn as structured SVG so collectors can zoom into the actual knot logic, not a JPEG blur. We commissioned a display cut with angular, kilim-derived terminals for the wordmark, and set everything else in patient, wide-measure text.
03 — The result
Time-on-page tripled. The atelier's waiting list is now longer than its loom schedule — a problem they tell us they enjoy having.
“The site slows people down. That is exactly right. Our rugs are not for people in a hurry.”
— Emre Aydın, master weaver
